Full Mouth Restorations

A patient in need of a full mouth restoration often has teeth which are decayed, broken, infected or missing. In her many years treating patients, Dr. Seifi has heard so many different stories about why patients have badly damaged teeth. The problem may have been financial, living in a place that was too far from quality care or perhaps an aversion to dental work.

Regardless, Dr. Seifi never criticizes a patient about their past care; what’s important is restoring their oral health.

What to Expect

The initial step is a thorough examination to set priorities. What’s most important is relieving the patient’s discomfort as soon as possible.

Infected teeth, cavities or abscesses causing pain are addressed first. If a tooth can’t be saved, it will be extracted. There might be a root canal procedure and cavities will be filled. At that point, the patient can breathe a sigh of relief. No more pain.

Providing a Full Set of Teeth

The next priority might be to restore a full set of teeth for the patient. Because there are a few different ways to replace missing teeth, Dr. Seifi will have a conversation with the patient to find out which method works best for this patient. Once they make this decision, she plans the bridges, partial dentures or dental implants needed to complete the smile.

Finishing Touches

The final steps take care of any unsightly teeth. If there are discolored, chipped or broken teeth, they might be remedied with dental veneers or crowns.

With every step, Dr. Seifi takes care to ensure that the final smile will look natural and just like what the patient envisioned. With excellent care from the first examination to the final aesthetic touches, Dr. Seifi gives those in need of a full mouth restoration the beautiful new smile they wished for.
